We aim to provide your child with the highest quality care and education at A2Z Childcare and Kindergarten.
We’d love to become a part of your extended family – enabling you to entrust the care of your children to people who will love, nurture and educate them.
We understand that each child is unique, and they are constantly learning to be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured. Their development is our primary focus, and we strive to provide them with a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment to explore who they are and who they will become.
Our commitment to love, nurture and educate guide us in our decisions and actions.
We endeavor to create an educational
program that is inclusive and culturally responsive, promoting respect for
diversity and valuing each child’s background and experiences. Our curriculum
is designed to encourage children’s curiosity, creativity, and critical
thinking skills, empowering them to become confident and independent learners.
Our approach to learning is play-based,
which means that we provide opportunities for children to learn through
exploration, experimentation, and social interaction. We recognise that
children learn in different ways and at their own pace, and we make every
effort to provide a flexible and responsive program that meets their individual
needs.
We believe that it is
important to embed Indigenous perspectives and knowledge into our educational
program to promote respect, understanding, and appreciation for the rich and
diverse cultures of First Nations people and Torres Strait Islanders. We
recognise that these cultures have a unique history, knowledge, and wisdom that
can enrich our understanding of the world. We strive to incorporate Indigenous
perspectives and knowledge into our curriculum, teaching practices, and
learning experiences. This includes providing opportunities for children to
engage with Indigenous cultures through music, art, storytelling, language, and
cultural activities.
We recognize the importance of involving
children in decision-making processes related to their learning. We encourage
children to share their ideas and opinions, and we consider their perspectives
when designing and implementing our educational program. We believe that
children are capable of making informed decisions and we provide opportunities
for them to actively participate in the planning and evaluation of their
learning experiences.
We also recognise that building positive
relationships with families is essential to the success of our program. We
value open communication and collaboration, and we work together with families
to support children’s development and wellbeing.
Educators and staff members are a valued
resource. We are committed to ongoing professional development and continuous
improvement, ensuring that our philosophy and practices reflect the latest
research and best practices in the field of early childhood education and care.
Overall, our philosophy at A2Z Childcare
and Kindergarten is centred on creating a safe and welcoming environment that
promotes children’s rights, encourages their active participation in the
learning process, and fosters a love of lifelong learning.
